WARM CLOTHES AND BLANKETS DISTRIBUTION TO NEEDY

Samoon Foundation did its part on the occasion of Makar Sankranti to aid the needy by distributing warm wool blankets and warm clothes during the season of winter. Distribution happened in Rishikesh, Haridwar, Devprayag and remote villages near Devprayag & Haridwar. In order to prevent and catch people who could be faking poverty, Samoon members were actively vetting prospects before handing over the blankets. With a target of helping around 151 people who were shivering in this bone-freezing cold, we witnessed heart-sinking emotions on the receiver’s face, while they thanked us for this deed. We urge all of you to contribute to our projects by donating any amount you feel fit because bringing a smile on a deprived face and warmth of care on an age-old body is priceless.
