Student Guidance Camp and Student Scholarship Distribution Program were organized by the Samoon Foundation on 12 December 2017 at Omkaranand Saraswati Government College Devprayag, Tehri Garhwal. This camp was organized with the objective of providing proper guidance and assistance for employment along with the physical, mental, intellectual and spiritual development of students.
A 5-member team of Samoon with teachers and counsellors guided the students in this camp. The Samoon family provided the entire expenditure of one year of education for 17 selected financially weak and mentally strong students in the form of scholarship and will continue to help them in all stages. We humbly requested all the people that they should take the auspicious opportunity to contribute to the bright future of the students according to their talents and abilities
Human beings have been considered social animals. It also
creates a society and man is also indebted to society. He makes his own value
and stands by learning from society itself. If a person is indebted, he should
awaken the spirit of charity in his instinct to repay this debt. As he is
taking from someone, he should also try to return the same. There are many
types of donations mentioned in Gita, in which selfless donation is considered
to be the best. But among all the donations, the donation of knowledge is said
to be the best.
