The event commenced with a beautiful Saraswati Vandana followed by an introductory comment by Samoon team members Mr. Kamal Kant Singh and Mr. Kamal Joshi who conveyed the vision and missions of Samoon Foundation to the audience. Afterwards, the talented students from the different schools presented a mesmerizing cultural program

After the cultural program, the 37 bright students who were selected for scholarship distribution were awarded a scholarship of INR 3000/- each by our team. Along with that, all the teachers and local workers who helped us in organizing the event were given the “SAMOON” gift by our foundation as a token of appreciation. At the end of the event, a vote of thanks was given to all the people who participated in it and were a part of making it successful

Apart from Mr. Kamal Kant Singh from the Haridwar team and Mr. Kamal Joshi from the Rishikesh team, Mr. Arvind Jiyal from Devprayag team and Mrs. Indu Bhandari also graced the event with their presence.

This little effort by Samoon Foundation to give those 37 students a better chance at life and in their studies was just one of the efforts to make the future of this country better and brighter. Samoon Foundation will continue to make such efforts each year and improve the lives of more such meritorious students
