In the remote village of Khainuri, Chamoli district, Uttarakhand, three orphaned siblings—Sanjana (Class 10), Sakshi (Class 9), and Ayush (Class 4)—are struggling to survive after losing their parents to illness. Living in isolation, they manage daily chores, attend school, and handle survival entirely on their own, with only a small dog as their loyal companion.
With no neighbors nearby and a broken toilet located far from their homes in the remote village of Khainuri in Chamoli district, Uttarakhand, three innocent children—Sanjana (Class 10), Sakshi (Class 9), and Ayush (Class 4)—are battling their fate, forced to live alone after the demise of their parents, Late Shri Nain Singh Bisht and Late Smt. Kusuma. Their parents succumbed to prolonged illness, leaving these young ones orphaned and helpless.
These children live in isolation, with no neighbors nearby. Their lives are filled with struggles—waking up independently, preparing meals, getting ready for school, and managing everything independently. If they run out of essentials, they are left with no one to rely on but their tears.
A broken toilet is located a little away from their house, and venturing out to use it on cold nights is fraught with danger. The children share their lonely lives with a small dog, who lovingly waits for them and protects them like family.
Lonely and desolate nights, terrifying sounds, and the uncertainty of the next day have become a part of their lives. At such a tender age, they shoulder responsibilities far beyond their years, fighting every day for survival.
