Project Overview:At Samoon Foundation, we believe that education is a fundamental right and a powerful tool for social change. However, many underprivileged students in rural Uttarakhand lack basic necessities such as school uniforms, which impacts their confidence and participation in school activities. To address this, we have launched the "Donate for Uniforms" project, aiming to provide school uniforms to 2,000 deserving students.

Our goal is to raise sufficient funds to distribute uniforms to 2,000 underprivileged students across various schools in Tehri Garhwal and other rural areas of Uttarakhand. With your support, we can ensure that these children have the opportunity to attend school with dignity and pride.

As part of our efforts to support the education of students in rural Uttarakhand, the Samoon Foundation distributed school uniforms to all students of the Government Primary School - Kandari, Development Block – Thauldhar, Tehri Garhwal, on 11th July 2024. On this occasion, the school's headmaster, Mr. Roshan Lal Aswal, heartily thanked the Samoon Foundation and appreciated this initiative. He said, "This uniform distribution program has not only brought smiles to the children's faces but also boosted their confidence." Representing Samoon Foundation, Jitendra Jardhari, Rajendra Rangad, and local community representatives were also present at the event. Samoon Foundation is committed to equality in education and the holistic development of students. This effort by the Samoon Foundation is a significant step towards the holistic development of students. Continuing with our campaign, we aim to distribute uniforms to 2000 children in many more schools soon.


On the third day of the first phase of Samoon Foundation's uniform distribution, uniforms were distributed to the students of Primary School Neri, Tehri Garhwal. Neri, Block Thauldhar, Tehri Garhwal: On 12th July 2024, Samoon Foundation conducted a uniform distribution program at the Government Primary School in Neri under the guidance of Jitendra Singh, Rajendra Rangad, and local community representatives. The main objective of this program was to motivate underprivileged children towards education and promote equality. This uniform distribution initiative filled the children with enthusiasm and self-confidence. Local children and parents appreciated the Samoon Foundation's efforts. The villagers expressed their gratitude to the Samoon Foundation for this initiative and hoped for such activities in the future as well.


Fourth Day of Uniform Distribution Date: 13/07/2024 School Number: 4 School Name: Government Primary School - Jhakogi, Block – Thauldhar, District - Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. On the fourth day of the first phase of Samoon Foundation's uniform distribution, a uniform distribution event was organized today, 13th July 2024, at the Government Primary School Jhakogi, Tehri Garhwal. The primary objective of this initiative is to ensure the availability of necessary educational materials and uniforms for students. Samoon Foundation's President, Mr. Vinod Jethuri, stated that this uniform distribution program is organized to promote the importance of education and to help underprivileged children. The program was conducted under the guidance of Jitendra Singh Jardhari, Rajendra Rangad, Vinod Rangad, and local community representatives. The school's principal, Mr. Mukesh Ramola, and teacher Gaurika appreciated this initiative and mentioned that such support will help students perform better in their studies. Prominent villagers and parents were also present on this occasion, and everyone praised the Foundation's efforts. This program is yet another example of the Samoon Foundation's social service and its commitment to education. The Foundation will continue to organize such programs in the future.


Fifth Day of Uniform Distribution Campaign Date: 15th July 2024 Location: Government Primary School Barnu, Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand Today, on 15th July 2024, the Samoon Foundation distributed uniforms at Barnu Primary School. This program was conducted under the guidance of Samoon Foundation members Mr. Rajendra Rangad and Mr. Jitendra Jardhari. The acting principal of the school, Pushpa Rawat, and assistant teacher Mr. Virendra Rana, said on this occasion, "Our goal is for every child to receive a good education, and providing them with the necessary resources is our priority." They further mentioned that such programs boost children's confidence and encourage them towards education. During the program, local social workers also motivated the children and emphasized the importance of education. Pushpa Rawat thanked the Samoon Foundation, stating that such initiatives raise the morale of the children and help them focus more on their studies. At the end of the program, new uniforms were distributed to all the children, bringing smiles to their faces. Samoon Foundation assured that it would continue to provide such support in the future. Today marked the fifth day of the uniform distribution campaign, and under this initiative, new uniforms have been distributed to 1000 students in Uttarakhand so far.


Sixth Day of Uniform Distribution Date: 16/07/2024 School Number: 6 School Name: Government Primary School - Tikhoon, Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. Today, on 16th July 2024, the Samoon Foundation distributed uniforms at Tikhoon Primary School in Tehri Garhwal. This program aims to promote equality in education and resources within the society. The chief guest, Principal Mr. Vijay Singh, emphasized the importance of education and inspired the children to work hard. The program was conducted under the guidance of Jitendra Singh Jardhari, Munni Jardhari (teacher), Natthilal (village head), Neema Rana (Anganwadi worker), Rajendra Rangad (social worker), Vinod Rangad, and local community representatives. Various members of the local community cooperated to make this event successful. Samoon Foundation representative Mr. Jitendra Jardhari said, "Our goal is to provide equal opportunities to every child in society so that they can brighten their future." Residents also appreciated this program and found it beneficial for the children.


Samoon Foundation successfully completed the seventh day of uniform distribution at Government Primary School – Koti Dobhalo Ki, Tehri Garhwal. The main objective of this initiative was to provide students with essential educational materials and uniforms. The program was led by Samoon Foundation members Mr. Jitendra Jardhari, Mr. Rajendra Rangad, and Mr. Vinod Rangad. The school principal, Ms. Meena, expressed her heartfelt thanks to the Samoon Foundation and appreciated the initiative. The joy and confidence on the children's faces were heartwarming. This effort not only met the children's needs but also served as a significant step towards enhancing their education. Samoon Foundation extended its gratitude to everyone who contributed to making this program a success.
